Totus Tuus is Latin for Totally Yours. It is a fun and energetic week long summer program for youth entering Grades 1-12. Kids are taught by dynamic young adults (2 men and 2 women) who dedicate a summer lead Totus Tuus programs at parishes around our Archdiocese. Kids entering grades 7-12 participate in an evening program on Sunday-Thursday during Totus Tuus week (7 pm - 9:15 pm).
Dates for 2021 will be available in the spring!
All High School Students are invited to attend the newly revamped High School Youth Ministry Nights at St. Pius X. Events are typically held twice per month with one night focusing on Building the Community and one focusing on Service.
Community Nights will involve developing deeper Christain relationships with other teens and a variety of spiritual growth opporunities. Service Nights will focus on service within St. Pius X and the local Community.
After being Confirmed, teens are invited to participate in a Discipleship Group (D-Group). Groups use materials from YDisciple, which pairs six to eight youth with two to three adult mentors who help facilitate a discussion on topics about faith and life. As a group, they establish trust, faith sharing, and accountability, and provide guidance to the teens as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. The core principles of Discipleship groups are: relational, relevant and parent driven. D-Groups also meet the five fundamental needs of teenagers: the need to be understood, the need to belong, the need to be transparent, the need to engage in critical thinking and the need for guidance. Teens are split into groups based on gender and age; we currently have several groups meeting at different times throughout the week.
