During the month of November 2021, our parish family has gathered for prayer, fellowship, and community. At the beginning of the month, members of the Seven Sister Apostolate were at the Basilica of St. Mary for Mass with Archbishop Hebda. This group of women commit to praying for our pastor, Fr. T.J. Then during this month of praying for the souls in purgatory, we gathered with family and friends who lost a loved one this past year. During our time of prayer a memorial candle was lit and the names of each individual who was buried at St. Pius X was read. As our Synod groups concluded, we had a social gathering of laughter and sharing. Prayers for our Veterans as the CCW and KC's sponsored a Patriotic Rosary where we prayed for our nation and past and current service members. New in 2021, Spirit Sundays came to St. Pius! This month of giving thanks, as we did with our parish Mass on Thanksgiving Day. The very word Eucharist means thanksgiving...Let us give God thanks!
