The parish church is a privileged place for the catechesis - or teaching - for each and every one who enters the doors. At The Church of St. Pius X, this includes our youngest of parishioners through adults. Each journey in faith is unique and it is a gift and privilege for us to walk with you in faith. This is the life-long journey of discovering all that is true, good, and beautiful. This discovery or rediscovering is not following an ideal or a philosphy, but a person and this person's name is Jesus Christ.
Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said: "Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction." We want to be part of your journey of encountering God. It is one of the main reasons the Church of St. Pius X exists in White Bear.
Through this encounter with God, we grow as a follower of Jesus - and become one of His disciples. Then through our growing in faith we are invited to share our faith and be people of generosity with time, talent and treasure. There are many Groups and Ministries for you to join to enter more into our parish community life. How wonder that the church and community of St. Pius X is here to journey with you!

"The definitive aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ: only He can lead us to the love of the Father in the Spirit and make us share in the life of the Holy Trinity." Saint John Paul II, Catechesi Tradendae
“The parish is the preeminent place for the catechesis of adults, youth, and children. ‘Knowledge of the faith, liturgical life, the following of Christ are all a gift of the Spirit which are received in prayer, and similarly a duty of spiritual and moral study and witness. Neither aspect may be neglected.’ Pastors have the duty to provide catechesis; parishoners have the reciprocal duty to participate in and support the catechetical activities of the parish.” (National Directory for Catechesis, 60)
