The Prayer Shawl Ministry brings together people who share a similar interest to share in fellowship and to put to use the talent of knitting and crocheting to create prayer shawls that will be given away to help spread the message of God’s mercy, love and compassion. Each shawl is created with a recipient in mind, and the person is prayed for throughout the process of knitting or crocheting.  This ministry is open to anyone who has the skills to knit or crochet or who would like to learn how to knit or crochet. Whether you knit or crochet quickly or slowly, your help is welcome to make fulfill the mission of spreading God’s love through prayer shawls.  St. Pius X Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the third Thursday of the month at 10:00 am.
