Communications 101 – Communicating with Youth ~ Even When They Don’t Want To
Do all children and teens respond with one-word answers? Does every conversation have to turn into a battle? All parents and their school age children are invited to attend a special presentation sponsored by Faith Formation on Wednesday, November 20 at either 5:15 PM or 7:15 PM in the Community Rooms. In these sessions, you will learn what age-appropriate communication looks like, how to practice active listening, and gain practical strategies to improve adult-child communication skills. Child Care will be available for children 6 months – 5 years old but you must RSVP for the Child Care to Stefanie at sgazich@churchofstpiusx.org before noon on Tuesday, November 19.
